For Perspective Students

The curriculum of Department of Applied Economics is designed to support students in achieving their maximum potential. The Department is a new but high ranking higher education institution of Economics for its quality of research and teaching, enabling students to achieve their potential within the academic environment and from the learning experience. Students who are interested in studying for 4-year undergraduate course of the department shall take the General Scholastic Ability Test organized by the College Entrance Examination Center (CEEC), then apply for Screening Test of the department, or alternatively take the CEEC College Entrance Examination in July and will be distributed to the department according to the test scores you have get in the exam. The curriculum of Department is designed to support wide-range needs for Economic and Business analysts, and policy makers. The first- and second-year students who are already enrolled and studying the other departments of the University may apply for transfer of major, taking dual major or minor major. All the course credits the students have get are accredited and qualified for being the optional course credits. Students may also take transfer exam to enter for study. Studentship and Studying Supports

獎勵高中生入學獎學金 which provide studentship up to NTD300,000 for each qualified student are intended to provide an opportunity for exceptional and potential candidates, who wish to study at National Univeristy of Kaohsiung,no matter he/she enrolls in the University via the "Entrance Exam" or "Application and Screening". The University also provides NTD1,000~3,000 in each semester for distinguished students. Our department particularly offers NTD1,000~3,000 in each semester for distinguished first- and second-year students.
